Icon Theatre and Theatre31 are at an exciting time, as we start to develop and deliver large scale ambitious work in our local area. We want to work with individuals who are passionate about creating and delivering quality community theatre, with collaboration at the heart of their practice.
Icon Theatre is looking to appoint a Deputy Director who can be instrumental in our growth and strategic development, is passionate about the positive social impact our work can have and is interested in learning and growing with the company over the next few years.
This Senior Management Team role is a new position for Icon Theatre, created to support the company with development and delivery of key strategic objectives, and to support the work of the founding Artistic Director/CEO.
We are particularly keen to meet applicants with a strong track record in communications and marketing who can play a key role in this exciting next step of our journey. The successful applicant will also have good understanding and experience of the operational systems and financial processes required to support the effective delivery of our work.

Icon Theatre is seeking a freelance producer who is experienced in site-specific and outdoor work and has a passion for community engagement, to work with us on two exciting large-scale productions during 2021-22.
Icon Theatre creates large-scale, site-specific productions working collaboratively with Medway and north Kent communities. These feature professional casts and creative teams working alongside a large-scale community ensembles, often including local choirs, dancers and visual artists.
Due to the nature of the work we create, the Icon Theatre Producer will work closely with the Artistic Director Nancy Hirst, the production and technical teams, and the participants and communities we collaborate with. They will support the development of the partnership between the professional creative team and the community. They will have a proven track record in producing site-specific, immersive and outdoor shows, and a passion for working with communities to create quality theatrical productions.
