Theatre31 are seeking to recruit a talented group of Theatre Assistants to join our friendly team.
As we navigate our activities out of lockdown, Theatre31 will deliver a large-scale and ambitious programme of work in Medway and Sheppey. Our team of Theatre31 Assistants are key to the work we do, supporting our Lead Facilitators in regular workshops, youth theatre and youth panels sessions as well as assisting in the running of ad-hoc projects and productions.
We want to meet and recruit enthusiastic, energetic, creative and dynamic individuals who have a passion for working with young people in a theatre environment and who genuinely want to create authentic and impactful experiences for young people.
This is an ideal opportunity for an entry level job and for an individual who is a passionate early-career theatre maker.
This is a freelance position. We are looking for individuals to support our core and regular activity such as Theatre31’s Youth Theatre Bases and Young Artist Collective. We envisage this being a minimum of 4 hrs per week for successful candidates. There will be additional opportunities such as taster workshops in schools, festivals and project related activity.
Closing date for applications: 12:00 Midday on Tuesday 8 June, 2021
